I Shall Simply Die

This is the worst thing that I've ever done in my life, taking Amelia in for her vaccinations today. You haven't lived until you've experienced the exact moment when your kid first learns that the world just sucks, that pain and misery can come at any moment, from any direction, and for any reason... even though vaccinations are a good reason.

She slept through the first shot, the second one woke her, the third one got her crying, and this fourth one made her lose her mind.

I feel like the worst parent in the world, I tell you...
