Does anybody remember when you were supposed to bring your CD copy of Dire Straits' Brothers in Arms to the store when you were shopping for a CD player, because it was something like the first album recorded digitally, so in order to really hear what a stereo could do with CD technology, this was the baby to crank on the speakers?

Of course none of you do. You're all too young to remember when CD players were first introduced.

Some of us listened to 8-track!

You whippersnappers.

Mr. No Example

Say, did you know that Rutger Hauer is in Confessions Of a Dangerous Mind? I didn't. But it figures, because I also picked up Blade Runner from the library, and as we all know, Rutger Hauer is in that.

I only mention this because it seems that whenever I pick up a handful of films to watch, somehow the same actors end up being in at least some of the same films.

Of course now I can't think of any more examples, but trust me: this happens all the time.

All. The. Time.

Eddie Izzard
She's never heard of The Gong Show.

Oh, someone needs to watch some Game Show Network, I think.

Guess What I'm Watching

Elevator with Jim and Pam
Arthur: Do you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to take a bath.
Hobson: I'll alert the media.
Arthur: Do you want to run my bath for me?
Hobson: It's what I live for.
[Arthur exits]
Hobson: Perhaps you would like me to wash your dick for you... you little shit.

Think On It

If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want yourself to be happy, practice compassion.
