"I know, I know..."
"What are you doing, anyway?"
I held up a CD and waggled it at her. "Tunes for the iPod. It's a long trip."
"You're going to be gone five days," she said.
I nodded. "Yep."
"And how much music do you already have on your iPod?"
I looked at the bottom of the computer screen. "Five and a half days so far."
"If you played it twenty-four hours a day."
"Yep," I said again.
"So," she said, "even if you played your iPod non-stop from tomorrow when you get up, you wouldn't be able to listen to the entire library before you got back home from California?"
"Yep."
"What do you know," she said. "I was right. You are insane."
"Yep," I said, and popped another CD into the computer.
